Bringing Stories to Life

Hello! I’m Sunny, the founder of Vulnerable Narratives.

I created this platform not just as a space for people to share their stories, but because it’s always been my dream to tell mine. I’ve been through a lot, and along the way, I’ve learned some hard truths about life, pain, and healing. I’ve always shared my stories to help and guide others, not to preach, but to offer wisdom that can help others navigate life with less suffering. Over the years, my therapists and professors have always encouraged me to write a book, planting that seed in my mind since I was a teenager.

As a kid, I always knew what real success was. I had a clear vision of what it meant to live a meaningful, peaceful, and fulfilling life. However, circumstances and the lack of choices and support, painful and challenging as they were, held me back from reaching that potential. It wasn’t until I lived through those struggles, learned from them, and grew through the pain that I was finally able to achieve that vision of success. Today, I can say that I live the life I always dreamed of, a life filled with purpose, happiness, and deep fulfillment.

Vulnerable Narratives was always intended to be more than just a platform for storytelling. From the start, my goal was to transform these stories into powerful, immersive experiences, through plays and independent films. I wanted to create a space where people could share their resilience in the most impactful way, one that touches souls, sparks transformation, and guides others on their own path to healing. Hollywood is not telling us the truth and we deserve the truth. When we see our stories reflected in art, we open ourselves to growth, grace, and the freedom to transcend pain. By sharing our stories, we do more than spread knowledge; we also deepen our understanding of ourselves. Revisiting our behaviors and actions in the process helps us reflect, become self-aware, and consciously choose how we want to evolve.
